What would also be interesting, if they matched up an typical off the shelf cam at a similar general level as the winning custom cam and compare.

Summit is one of the competitors and i am betting it will be something off the shelf, i can't see them getting a custom grind done for this

well i guess no reason really.. just figured they have thousands of cams and would probably just send in one they have already
