10' drums on 9"spindles???

I"ve got a 10" drum set up that has been in the shed for umpteen years... wil the backing plates/drums be a direct bolt on to the 9"spindles on the 65 ??

I don't think so the spindles are different.

I am almost 100% positive it will not....spindle is way different and takes different bearing sizes...it would be nice if it did...

1972 back will not interchange on the original SPB spindles.
