11 inch rear drums?

i have a set of rear backing plates and 11 inch drums. what car should i use to get new shoes for these? i got these a while ago and im just putting them on. forgot what they came off. thanks for any help.

depends on there width. My 11's came off a 78 doba. There 2-1/2 wide.

yea i just checked, mine are 2 1/2 inches wide. i guess wheels cylinders are the same too. thanks

Any 68-72 Polara, Monaco, Fury, New Yorker, 300, and many others in other years as well I'd suppose. Long as it is 11x2 1/2, don't matter. Why wouldn't you just get new shoes as long as you're at it? I think they cost me about $20 at NAPA when I bought some for my Duster last year.

I just picked up an 8 3/4" rearend with 11" drums. I was looking at the brake mechanisms and they don't have spreader bars with anti-rattle springs or automatic adjusters. Are they supposed to have them? Am I missing some parts?

A chiltons or OEM book can show you what is suposed to be there. Most part can be had in the help section of the auto parts store.
