12th DUI

Just found out my wife's cousin was in an accident. He was riding a scooter and wiped out. He had head trauma, broken ribs, ruptured spleen, and now has memory loss. I felt bad for him until I found out a week later he was drunk. Well now I don't feel so bad and he's looking at losing his job in the coast guard because of the brain damage. This is his 3rd DUI and he's having big charges against him too.

There was a guy I went to high school with in south Texas who was facing 35 years in prison after DWI number 3, 4, 5, or 6, I don't remember the exact number of priors (It's DWI here in Texas). Rather than go to prison, he chose to commit suicide.
