To make a long story short I sold this and now have it back. My question is I originally sold this thinking it would be too loose for street manners in my Dart with 3.91's. Does anyone have experience with this converter on the street ? I'm really concerned that I will be cruising around town with major slippage. Its rated up to 3500

I ran an 8" T/A 3800 on the street for 2 years. never had an issue with it.

However TCI doesnt have the best rep,

Most modern converters don't slip under light/normal acceleration like the old ones did. My PTC will stall 3100 when I nail it yet when I cruise normal you can hardly tell it has any stall at all. I think you'll be ok.
