I have the opertunity to get some 17x9.5 w/245-40's and 17x11 w 315-35's
will these fit in the stock wheel wells of a duster?=P~

Without informing us of back spacing measurements, all we can say is YES there is 11" of wheel tub....do you intend to Move your Leaf Springs inboard or has it already been done?

9.5" is pretty wide for a Front Rim on a Mopar, it will probably rub in more place than one, what is the back spacing?

Post up some pics.....I like BIG wheels on classic vehicles., although many purist do not.

315's will be too wide, unless you jack the car up so they won't intrude in the wheel well. I have 275's under mine and they fit, but not with much to spare. I have 17x8's with a 4.5" backspace on a 73-340 with a stock with 8.25, and had to use a 3/16" spacer to clear the spring shackle. Any more backspace would not have fit mine.

I'm going to look at them after work. They came off a 2000 mousestang. They are aftermarket TQ thrusts so I'm hoping the back space is less than 5". I'll take a tape messure and check on the back spacing. I know I put some wheels with 5" back space and the tire hit the springs. I'didn't even try them in front. If I don't think they will fit I just won't by them The seller want's 500 for all 4 rims and 4 275x40 and 2 315x35 tires. just the tires alone if they are in good shape are more than the asking price. If I think the rims will work with like 245 and 275 tires I may still get them and try and sell the tires I cant use.
I have 225x50x15 front and 255x60x15 rear now.

Well the new wheels aren't going to happen. The wheels both had a 6"+ back space and I just don't want to have 2' spacers on there so I guess I'll wait for the next deal to show up. I did get some paint for the car tho. I can't wait for a warm up so I can get some color on this thing.
