What are the differences between a Holley 1920 and a Holley 1920 Economiser?

I thought they were the same? the 'Economizer' is the "valve body" in the fuel bowl.

The economizer is a vacuum diaphragm in the model 1920 , or are you asking about the Holley economaster carburetor ?

You must mean the "Economaster" carburetor by Holley. That was an after-market line sold in the late 70's to early 80's during the "gas crisis". I recall there was a 1 bbl one for the slant 6. In most, they tuned them leaner for main flow and had better fuel distributor rings in the venturi. Some people say they can't be rebuilt well because of the tinier passages.

Right on Bill , the one Holley I remember was R-8691 Chry. Dodge , Ply. 225 Eng. 2 Bbl Economaster only because I had one.
