A small-town Midwestern dealership in Pierce, Nebraska sold Chevrolets to local families and first-time buyers for 50 years until it’s husband and wife team finally closed their doors seventeen years ago. Since then, a staggering inventory of 500 surviving cars, new & used, have been stored away, undriven for decades. Some 50 cars “brand new” Chevrolets from the 1950s and 60s have less than 10 miles on the odometer.

i would love to walk around that place and sit in some of those cars ...if only to imagine what it was like in the mid -60s when all that was so new and shiney :D

500?! That's mind-boggling! I hope not too many of that 500 were outside. That's gotta be the truth though, I would think.

I'll take that new red '63 Corvair Monza! It's a stick too! :love7:

can you imagine buying a rust free 50's or 60's car with only 10 miles on it ? Probably put a dent into the restore to sell market.

now if there was a bird in there :)
