1962 valiant shifter change

Bill,

I can't believe it. You got it. I had this set up yesterday but the slanted trans or leaning trans to driverside tricked me. In fact that unit is the blue one in the pictures of the assembled unit in my post laying behind it in the back of the truck. A quick scuff reshoot in Chrysler red and ZoomZoom!
Amazing and you and everyone else who help is as well. My father is love this Christmas morn.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO AND YOURS
AND TO ALL MOPARNIACS!

One thing I enjoy about my 62 Lancer is learning about it. So many things unique to it. They are no doubt love it or hate it car usually no in between! Sorta like first gen Chargers, But I am odd for sure,... I loved the 2 66's I had decade ago. ha
MLP I am glad you are getting it sorted out.

Glad to be of help. I really like my '62 V-200, also.

I'm still looking for a "Park" lever knob for the '62 Valiant/Lancer push button shifter, if anybody has one in good condition!

Hmm! That's a tough one. Most were cracked, fell off and either replaced with some oddball part or just left as is if so what are you going to do with your entire pushbutton system, tranny to buttons and dash panel?

Barbee try Craigslist and look in areas from Colorado and the surrounding states. Here's a shot of the interior and as she sits now while having tranny surgery.

Sorry Bill, didn't mean to confuse you with Barbee. 55 yrs old and still learning to read, tech challenged.

Here's a 78 Cj5 I just finished for a gentleman and his 2 boys from Melbourne, Florida.

Mostly we get asked what is it. I tell um it's a Jetson, remember that show,
The Jetsons. The look on their faces is a riot. Then I come clean and tell them it's a Plymouth and they're still lost.
Not many around these days! Never gets confused with a Chevy that's for sure!!!
