Hi

New to both Mopar and this forum....great site!

I just bought a 1963 Dart manual shift car that had a Hurst floor shift and 833 installed in the distant past (no history from seller)

I noticed the clutch pedal not returning to the top, so adjusted the rod at the release fork; pedal now returns, but the clutch feels like it's barely engaging. I won't know if it's a diaphragm clutch until I pull it apart; also, it looks like someone added a longer arm on the Z-bar for the release rod (crude weld and the stock arm is still there!) The over center spring is in place.

Any thoughts before I start tearing it down?

Also, I need a four-speed tunnel hump....the PO "crafted" a cover out of a "keep right" street sign! I called Brewer's and got the "I never got my mold back" story; does the AMD hump for the later Dart's fit a '63?
Thanks again,
Marc in SF
