Found on the fender tag under the hood:

A - 3

g - 1

j - 5

m - 3

p - 1

q - 2

y - 2

so - 0318

number - 6123

bdy - 742

trm - 898

pnt - wwa



all i have been able to decode from the above list is

j - 5 / "heater front with defroster"
 
Try fortunecity.com and 1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com I'm just learning about my '67 Barracuda, and I have found some things on these two sites for the older A bodies. Good Luck!
 
I found a fender tag decode thread for '63 Dart on Moparts.com, I'm not signed up there so I could not contact the folks in the thread. Looks like the A is the transmission code, not sure which, the 0318 is the scheduled build date of March 18th, and the 6123 is the shipping order number. Being as it's older than a '68 you can order a copy of the original build card from Chrysler Historical, they will even decode some of it for you.
