Hi guys and gals. Can anybody steer me in the right direction for procedures to adjust my kickdown linkage and maybe some info on the 64 904 shifting adjustments (with the pushbutton of course). I looked for a 1964 supplement for the 273, but I cannot find anything but advertising for the then new LA 273. Any help would be appreciated.

Or maybe someone in the Northeast near southern MA. that is familiar with that transmission.

There is a threaded adjustment going down to the kick down on the trans, pretty much have a friend give it full throttle and adjust he length. With wide open throttle adjust the kick down, That would be the stock adjustment, I like to have them adjusted a little longer for better shift points.

Here is where it bolts to the back off the head.

Also adjusting the drive gears etc on the dash you need to loose the gear cable(push button cable) and spin it until the gear changing matches with the actual push button selector.
