1964 Valiant sun visors

Unfortunately Im currently not in the same city as my Valiant, and wont get to take another look at it until next weekend.

I ordered some new sunvisors to replace the dry rotted originals. I was wondering what is proper procedure for removing the old ones and installing the new ones?

Is any special hardware needed on the rods? My passenger side original seems to be missing the metal piece closest to the rear view mirror. Part of the visor is eaten away there as well... I just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing some sort of fastener.

Do they just slide off and on again?

Really I just need the hardware, what other model years sunvisor mounting hardware will fit?

For example if I found some 67s or whatever, are the brackets the same?

Could someone post a picture of what the rod ends are supposed to look like (opposite bracket)?
