I would think so.I'm sure it would flow enough for that particular engine.
Thanks! I will make an offer on that regulater!
Finally the last front spindle with all parts was mounted. Hopefully the new brake drums gets here tomorrow!

Today I was able to mount the electric fuel pump the way Dick Landy did it in the mid 60ies. No bumper means vibrations in the body but hey, it's an old race car!!

The gas tank is cleaned. The hose between the fuel pump and pipe to the tsnk is connected. Now I need to repair the gauge since the pipe can move in the sending unit.

The adjusting tube with ends is in place on the right side. Strange feeling to add old stuff in good condition to make the car look old. Opposite last year....!

Cleaning off rests of old fuel from the gauge smelled not good!! Well, after some time it's ready for restoring the outlet.

I have added one positive cable from front to the fuel pump. My question is; where do I get the power from? Ignition switch, ignition coil, starter relay?

This is the first time the car sits on it's own tires since I started with it. The height on the front wheels compate to the rear wheels looks good.
Rear brake line, prop.shaft and the fuel gauge and we are ready at the back of the car.
When the intake manifold show up from Keith I might be able to do the rest on the engine too.
I love progress!!

After two hours of trying to mount the shifting and parking cable I found out the hard way that the steering column needs to be outside the car so you have the space!!!!!

Finally my fuel regulator showed up. First time ever I have one of these.

My plans was to mount it on the block off plate for the fuel pump. But that requires two fuel lines from the regulator. Can it be better to have one fuel line from the regulator up to a fuel T and then two short fuel lines to the carbs? I think it would look better!
Finally the shifting mecanism is mounted and ready too. Progress, here we come!

Hah, after a long wait the intake is finally here! Thanks Keith for helping me out with the deal. The package was great.

The intake looks awesome. Even the rods was included. It's assembly time!

Finally the carbs are in place. I was thinking that two slant six air cleaners would do the job! Well, that ain't gonna happen due to too large diameter. New ideas?

My friend ran these on his 440, just cheap new ones but they used them back in the day...eBay has them but he got his at a local parts store.

I seen this awhile back at a local show on a car for sale, looks so good it looks like its almost factory! Looks to be 2 170 slant six air cleaners cut and welded together...love this!
