I'm still working on the rear armrest pads. Does anyone know if they reproduce them with cut-out for the ash-tray? I'm looking for the pearl white edition!

Thanks FABO

yes...go on ebay!

Been there but they only have the ones without hole for the ash-tray! But know when I checked they have a new-release for those. Thanks for the heads up!

Got information that the ship where the container is loaded on is ahead of the schedule!

Are you flying over to meet the container and transporter? May the Force be with you at Carlisle!

While I will let Ulf tell you the results of the OE judging at Carlisle, I want to
congratulate him on one of the finest restorations I have ever had the privilege to judge. The effort, and parts, on this car are truly great. I hope that many of you get the chance to see it someday.
Thank you for brining this car to our country sir....

I'm sure it was a hit and did well, glad it made it here safe and I hope to see it in august :glasses7:

This year Chrysler at Carlisle have a new system for the OE judging. Three very comptent jurys has got together and formed a new way of judging Mopars. This year there were four cars running for OE. One super nice 71 Cuda, one 70 hemi Superbird and the first 64 Plymouth Max wedge car.

On Friday morning the three jury members were all over the my car for 3 hours! Inside, engine compartment, trunk and underside. Then meeting about date codes, paint splots, grease markings amd assembly line correctness.

Today I got the result. The car scored OE Gold award and Best in Show!!

I would like to thank all FABO members who has helped me finding parts, assembly line procedures and answering all odd question about different thing over the years. The Gold Award belongs to you as well! Without you this wouldn't be possible! Thank you so much.

Ulf

PS! More pictures later.

Nice job Ulf! I was able to see it in the tent Sat. Morning. What a journey you've taken us on. Congratulations!

enough can't be said about your deadication to this car....also those that found parts and gave information to make the most original restoration...and what has to be one of the greatest collections of NOS parts on one car....well done!!

A big Congrats to you Ulf and well deserved I might add. tmm

That little old Dart beat out A Hemi Superbird, e-bodies and max wedges.....how cool is that?!?!! I never had a doubt Ulf, congrats....your car is amazing :glasses7:

BTW, when will it appear in the Mopar magazines, and will you autograph my copy? Only a matter of time before the entire Mopar world knows about this sweet car :happy1:

Congratulations on a well deserved award!
Your five years of dedication and hard work has produced a beautifully restored Dart Charger.

Congratulations, Ulf, that's a great accomplishment. And, for you to thank FABO members right away for their help, a very classy gesture. So glad you won.

Congrats on the win,I was able to see your car at Carlisle, just an amazing piece of work,To all the FABO members,You must see this car in the flesh, the pictures are great but to see it with your own eyes........Incredible,what a beautiful machine, well done my friend, you should be proud of your of accomplishment and all your hard work.Again congrats on a job well done to take your car to the next level.

Congrats Ulf, to the award. Very well deserved. Your Dart is.... just like a new car from the plant. Makes us all proud of being a fellow member.

I'd say Ulf's car is a whole hell of a lot better than new. They weren't built anywhere near as carefully as Ulf has built his; these cars we love were carelessly thrown together on the assembly line by workers not treated very well and resentful of the conditions and pay, and there were giant drug problems in the build plants.

Congratulations! Sorry I couldn't make it to Carlisle, but I will definitely be in Las Vegas next spring to meet you and your car if that's still in your plans.

Thanks Keith! Both Mopar Collectors Guide and Mopar Action did a photo shooting after the examination. We'll see who has it first! FABO is mentioned there as well!

But I must give credit to the judges. Both Paul, Dave and Frank did a job that few guys in the world can do. Hats off!

Was there a "points" system and how did your car score?
