View attachment 1714751044[/ATTACH]I have a problem I have a 65 dodge dart gt we put a 318 magnum in it having problem with master cylander heating up and boiling over I upgraded to a duel master cylander bought a heat shield but still having problems with it any suggestions would b helpful it is just so close to manifolds had a newer plastic bowl type on there the lids heated up and started leaking put old style steel one on it yesterday and it started leaking also thanks for any help

I haven't heard of that. First, refresh the brake fluid, which you should do every 2 years so in OH (unless you use DOT 5 silicone). Glycol absorbs water, greatly lowering the boiling point, plus rusts the internals.

Post a photo of your exhaust manifold or headers. You can find info here. I recall most use factory 273 exhaust on a 318, though it restricts flow. A power brake booster & cylinder would sit much higher, which might help.

I've never heard of that either but Bills idea might be the trick! A picture would be great!

I see no photo. Try again. After selecting the file(s), click "upload" or such.

Looks like a standard setup w/ original 273 exhaust manifolds, other than the dual port MC. I doubt pure, new brake fluid would boil. I doubt you could have an exhaust leak puffing at the MC without hearing the leak.
