1965 Dodge Dart Windshield gasket

Does anyone know the best windsheild gasket to use in a 65 dart. I recently put one in about 3 months ago and don't like the way it fits. I bought the gasket from Paddock many years ago. Does anyone else have this same problem? I know Detriot Tech,Goodmark ,Metro ,Steele sell them but are they all the same?

Unfortunately they are all the same. Put a nice bead of black RTV in the groove that goes over the pinch weld, install gasket onto car, use blue masking tape to hold top in place, then let sit about 2 hours, then install glass and lock strip. No leaks at least it worked for me...

I bought 3 over the last year. 2 from "ebay" (various offshore manufacturers I'm sure) and one from Steele Rubber Products. It was a much better fit in all the corners and on the windshield itself.

Precision and Steele are the 2 biggest MFG of windshield gaskets. Both are good. Precision comes in a green plastic bag if I remember right.
