I have issues with the carb. It's a Carter # C1676. I can not find a kit or replacement carb. The number is not on Carter's list, yet the carb is clearly stamped Carter Corp. Can any one help resolve the problem?

That's not the #...sounds like you got that off the bowl casting. There should be a tag attached to one of the bowl cover screws. If not, it's a Carter BBD 2bbl. Kits are available..they cover multiple years. Try eBay

Thanks for the info. There is no tag on the carb. Found a kit and the carb was repaired. Car is running great now.
