Are the 70s are taller? I have stock spring location and the recommended KYB gas shocks. I did change the rear end to an 8 3/4 which is slightly narrower then the 7 1/4....this might be it....sorry to hijack the 66 thread.......that car has a wicked interior BTW.

No hijack, I asked the question. I have a 7 1/4 in it at the moment.
