1966 Formula S Tach

Does the in-dash factory tach on the ‘66 Formula S have a sending unit? My tach is not working.

And yes the 66 does have the remote sender like the 65. Points only...:-(

66 barracuda formula s tach HELP

On the 66 barracuda S the tach "tin can" is located behind the drivers side plastic kick panel. its a little metal can about 3" round.

The 66 Chargers had a remote sender as well.

The MOPAR early tach sending units are all the same. There are some on eBay now for a mere $100.
