Could these be made to work on a 67 non-vinyl top car? I've always liked the idea of a two tone paint scheme but always thought trim between the roof color and rest of the body would be needed. Do the vinyl top bodies have some extra body bits that the trim clamps on to that the non vinyls wouldn't have?
 
The vinyl/two tone cars have metal studs that little clips attached to to hold the trim in place. I guess technically you could weld some studs on there to attach the trim or come up with a creative way to attach the trim.
