Doing something that needs specific dates, anyone know the earliest 1967 Barracuda Formula S 383 either auto or 4-speed? If you have one, please state the date code. I have three of them but they are later. Thanks in advance!

IIRC the GTS Darts were available in March of 1967. Did the Barracuda have a 383 before the Dart?

The 1967 Barracuda production started at the end of October 1966, the Barracuda was a late entry for 67 model year.

One would assume the mix of engines was available from the beginning.

At one time I was told that October 31, 1966 was the first production date for the Barracuda.

My Barracuda is a November 29 car, one of the first 9000 cars.

The 1967 383 was a half year production due to the problem they had with the drivers exhaust manifold fit.
The production date for my 67 Barracuda 383 4 speed convertible is April 19th.

The earliest SPD I have registered is a BH23H 2/27/67. They start rolling out after that pretty steadily. I have one I purchased from original owner. He purchased it in early December 1966. The spd on it is 3/28/67 and IBM is same. He took delivery about a week later.

So it sounds like you could order a 383 barracuda in 66 but only take delivery of it in Feb of 67 the dart was the same way, that makes sense
