I'm sort of a newbie here.....and I'm offering up for sale my '67 notchback Cuda. I am very reluctantly selling it, I've had it for 10 years and done quite a bit to it. It has an N.O.S. 273 shortblock with the correct casting number 273 heads, rebuilt with hardened exhaust seats, a 268 cam, headers, Formula S intake and correct AFB carb, new electronic "orange box" Mopar Perf ignition/distributor, overdrive cast iron 4-speed with N.O.S. Hurst mechanism (not shift handle/rods) and best of all.......a DANA 60 with Moser axles. As crazy as it sounds.....I've only put about 8,000 miles on it since 2002. I've gotta get $9995 for it to finish my '69 Dart project. It's never had any major body work, NO rust or replaced panels, floors etc.....you'll probably be hard pressed to find a nicer one. The paint is about 8 months old and is the first paint job over the original paint.

Here's the whole text from the Ebay auction......to give you guys (and gals) the whole rundown on it.......

I've owned this car for over 10 years, and done quite a few things to it during that time. First of all, let me just say that this is an extremely rust-free and straight "survivor" car.....never in any major accidents, never any rust bubbles at all anywhere, no patch panels or floors replaced, ever. AND it's just had it's first paint job over the ORIGINAL white paint 4 months ago! The interior is also all original except for the carpet and door panels. The chrome and stainless are in great shape. The chrome on the interior is just really really nice.....there probably isn't 1 single pit anywhere on the window cranks etc. Look at the pics of the vent window chrome......just amazing! The front grilles/headlight bezels have been completely re-done by a reputable barracuda grille specialist. They are gorgeous!

I bought this car in Aug of '98 with 78K miles on the clock in Pomona. I drove it back and forth to work with the original slant 6/automatic for about a year and a half. I then found an N.O.S. Mopar 273 shortblock for sale and installed it with completely rebuilt heads (correct 273 castings) with hardened exhaust seats. This is not the high compression 273, but it has the original "Commando" 4-barrel AFB carb and factory intake, as well as the air filter, and headers. The cam that I installed is like an RV grind.....maybe around a 262 or 268 advertised duration. I also used an original set of factory adjustable rockers, but with hydraulic lifters.....and chrome moly push rods. There is also a brand new Mopar electronic ignition. (distributor and orange box) High volume oil pump, double roller timing chain, new fuel pump, rebuilt power steering pump, new water pump, starter etc. An original V-8 "K" member was installed, along with V-8 torsion bars and heavy duty leaf springs out back. I installed the 273 at 98,900 miles......the car now has 106,474....to get an understanding of how un-used this engine is.

Next, I installed a rebuilt A-833 cast iron overdrive transmission with an N.O.S. Hurst shifter mechanism. (not the handle or rods, just the mechanism) All the 4-speed hump, pedals, linkage and Z-bar support bracket were professionally installed and ALL MOPAR. The steering column is from an original floor shift car. Behind that, is a custom made driveline with an extra heavy duty yoke up front. That alone was $400. Out back, is the beautiful part.......a Dana 60 with a 4.10 locker and brand new Moser axles with completely rebuilt 11" station wagon drum brakes. (the emergency brake isn't hooked up yet, but only needs a threaded coupler) I know this rear end is quite of a bit of "overkill" for the 273, but the plan was for a 440 eventually.

There is also a "high efficiency" 3-row radiator that I had made, using the original top and bottom radiator tanks. The heater core has been replaced. The front brakes are late model A-body big pattern, the entire front end has been rebuilt and I used a later model "K" member that has the better idler arm. The exhaust system is made up of Flowmasters with 2 1/4" pipe and extends all the way to the rear valence panel. I brought an O.E. piece of Mopar tailpipe to the muffler shop to show them EXACTLY how I wanted the bend to be at the rear valence. I wanted the "1969~1970 cop car look". And it sounds tough with that setup and a little bit of cam. The front wheels/tires are brand new Cragar SS 15X6 with 205/60/15 tires, and the rears are Mopar 15 X 7 police wheels. (rear tires are getting weather cracked)

As far as the body goes, Mopar A body people know that the door latch pins are a common point for failure if abused. (breakage or cracked sheetmetal around the pins) Not here. No problems or welding repairs, ever. Notice that the door jams still have the original paint on them. * 1 gallon of extra paint will be included with this car, which can be used for the engine compartment and/or door jams. The trunk has been repainted and has had no damage or rust issues prior to painting. Notice the quarter panels in the pictures of the trunk.....totally virgin metal! The trunk seal is brand new also. The bumpers are almost perfect, but not show quality....a couple of rub marks. The back-up lights don't work. (never wired them up to the 4-speed) All other lights and wipers work. Headlights/front turn/tail bulbs are brand new. Front turn signal lenses are brand new. Radio works, but antenna is missing. All gauges work. Windshield is brand new and front and rear glass have new rubber seals. Taillight lenses are original and okay, not awesome. Left rear taillight housing has a crack in it. License tags are current, car is in my name on the pink slip. The paint still needs to be buffed out......it is still as it was when shot...a little rough.

Ya know, I bet if you post a TON of pictures you'll have an easier time trying to sell it on here. We all want to see a lot of pictures.
