I've decided to stop the rebuild of my 1967 Slant6 block (BH model with forged crank).
Block and head will have to be machined.
Crank has been machined 0.010 under by local speed shop (see receipt and package pics)
Original cam was reground based on Clifford recommendations, for use with their Weber 2-barrel
and long-runner intake (I don't have the carb nor the intake).
But all other parts are original, and would probably need replacing.
New AussieSpeed finned valve cover (unpolished)
904 trans rebuilt by '727 Specialists', and GearVendors O.D. installed.
New Coan Engineering torque converter (pro-street model w/ 1800 stall).
New Stef's trans pan w/ lube locker gasket (holds one quart more than stock).
New Melling oil pump (original pump gear has been pressed on for better reliability).
New oil pan dipstick.
I have the original oil pan, and a truck oil pan w/ new oil pickup.
Several Fel-Pro gaskets for oil pump, water pump, valve cover, oil pan.
I'd like to get $3500 (The GearVendor unit is $3100 by itself).
