This 1967 Coronet 500 383/4spd is an original California car

The original date coded 383 (126000mi) was rebuilt by Book Racing using Keith black 162 .030 over 10:1 pistons, ARP bolts, comp cam pushrods, 915 closed chamber heads reworked with Ferra stainless valves 2.14” intake/1.74 exhaust, Sealed Power CS661 cam Duration 214/225 Lift 448/463 motor has 800 miles on it. Aluminum pulleys, chrome brackets, etc.(Approx. 400hp)
Flowtech ceramic coated headers, starter blanket, new aluminum radiator with dual electric 10" fans and adjustable temp controller.

New under hood wiring (connections all soldered), New chrome alternator 75A, New regulator, New water/fuel pumps, New Holley 750cfm vacuum secondary and lokar accelerator cable.

The A833 Trans has a New Hays clutch/ pressure plate setup and New clutch linkage. 8 ¾ sure grip (742 case) rear with 3.23 gears and New adjustable pinion snubber.
The 2 ½" exhaust is all New with thrush welded mufflers. New front suspension including RMS tubular control arms, all New bushings, New .96” torsion bars, New shocks, New Brakes. Driveshaft has been balanced by Chicago driveline and New u-joints installed

Manual steering, manual brakes. Original Inland 4 speed shifter. The interior is in very nice condition. This is a Nice clean Mopar

The panels, pans and paint are rust free original, but needs bodywork/paint to be amazing.

This car was purchased on 12/17/1966 by John Vukovich of the Philadelphia Phillys. Have an enormous amount of documentation including the Chrysler historical society paperwork, receipts and Certi-card.

TPGUN-Nice car, I need something with pwr steering. Beautiful color.
CRAMAR-Any photos, Power steering. Also want floor shift.
 
No power steering though but you can add it. Column shift

I have to ask, was this posted here before?
Or did I come across it elsewhere?
I guess to somebody the Vukovich connection would mean something, but to me, it's just a cool car (though I would have to say it makes him just a little cooler in my book!).
I love it!
 
Has been posted here and other sites as well.
The vuckovich connection is just a cool piece of history on the car. Also documents car back to when it was new. I spoke with Johns brother and he confirmed it was indeed johns first car.John passed 4-5 years ago of cancer.
 
i have a 69 dart convertible that I'm 30k into also a 440 727 3.55 sure grip car to much to list hadnt really thought about a trade but have had the car since 1989 and would consider it at this point
