Im just going to list all the parts I will need and hopefully someone has a bunch. This will be updated as parts are needed :D These parts are for a DRIVER and not a show car.

Headlight adjust screw and the part it screws into (I know more than a few have these but Im hoping to save on shipping by shipping them with other parts :D)

Headlight on and off switch with knob

The part that goes around the gas tank filler tube to stop water from splashing up into the trunk (forget the name)

I think you will find the headlight adjusters in the HELP line at your local part store. The old ones will be very brittle and probably break during removal/install.

Ive tried all my local parts stores and none carry them. I live in a town of about 10,000 people so the stores here are pretty small. There is a set on ebay but they want $15 to ship them to me!

PS bought the tail light lense! Used but looks way better than the old one! Thanks to the seller!

there is a wealth of info online. google is very easy to use. get your part numbers and go to the store rather than settling for your parts mans lazyness (or yours) it took me 2 minutes to get you three parts numbers for your switch thats "not available"

now try googling headlight adjusters and see if you can do it.

you have a chrysler dealership in your town, they can get you the parts

And where did I say a switch wasn't available?

that was before you edited your ad. "10000 people in your town, parts guy cant find it, no listing, $15 to ship a headlight adjuster from eBay"

i bet you can go to your parts store now and get a headlight switch. it will cost you the same to get a used one and ship it as to buying new.

lordco has those adjusters in the help section, i have bought them there. $5 or so.

dont hate just say thank you

that was before you edited your ad.

What are you talking about? The only thing I edited on my ad was removing the part about the tail light. As for a part I couldn't find, I was talking about the headlight adjustment hardware which isn't available here local.

I think you should just stick to trying to scam 16 year old kids.

The adjusters are available from resto suppliers. We have not been able to find them in the local parts stores.

No it was a learning experience that the classic car world isn't completely filled with decent people. :D

scam? at that time i was buying and selling mopars as a business (as in my only source of income) most businesses dont work for free as far as i know and for some reason that car was being hidden from everyone. it took quite a bit of leg work to find it. so, as a business i shouldnt charge for that?

not sure where the "scam" was as you put it. You were looking for something and i was offering a service to find it. I have gladly paid finders fees for cars and parts but you feel like people should give you things for free reading your posts. helpless is right word.

as in my character. go to Paul's (needsaresto) dart thread and you can read all about my character helping out a guy i have never even met. make sure to read the whole thread. i have glady donated a easy $2000 worth of parts and work. lets see what you have done for a guy you have never met. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=74271

Yes a scam.

lets see you wanted $250 up front just to give a phone number for an owner who you said MIGHT be able to give a further lead on where the car might be Iyou said you didnt know where the car was at that time), but no guarantees that they'll have the info you want (your words at the time).

my father offered to pay you the price IF the guy had any useful info but you refused.

So what leg work was that? you were going to sell me the name and phone number of an owner who you didnt even know if he knew any useful info to help us to try and find the car.

So yeah if you knew where the car was and actually did the leg work to say "for a price i can tell you where the car is sitting" then fine thats worth it. but selling a phone number of someone for $250 who might simply say "i have no idea who i sold the car to"....
