1968 340-S Lifter Noise

Just recently noticed one of my lifters is making a "ticking" sound on my 68 Barracuda 340 Formula S and heard that Marvels Mystery Oil may work to un-stick lifters/clean tappets etc.
Any other suggestions? Your input is appreciated!

I doubt it, but it's cheap enough to try.

I had a lifter tick before put 1/4 to 1/3 of a quart of ATF ran it for 500 miles and changed the oil and no more lifter tick for the last 3 years on a motor close to 300k miles

marvel mystery oil works better than anything on the go for ticking hydraulic lifters .

Thanks for reply. I have run tranny fluid down the carb years ago. Are you saying you mixed Automatic transmission fluid with your crank case oil??

Yeah I mixed it with the oil
