Yes, mine has the same timing cover. I think they were all the same until 1970. In 1970 they changed the timing cover and water pump. One other thing I find interesting is although my block was cast on the same day, your vin number is much earlier than mine. Mine is 371XXX. Although I don't know the build date of the car, I do know that it was sold the day it was delivered to the dealership - 5/31/68.
