1968 barracuda 999 paint code

i've wondered about this for years. on the 68 paint chip sheet it does'nt list a 999 special paint code but on a 69 it lists 3. mine is a true 999 (fender tag) paint code and the original orange can be found in the nooks not covered in the repaint. also what color of orange is it exactly. maybe this was a late production year car and it got a 69 paint? thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think because its 999 it could be any color orange they wanted it to be. Usually I believe they're Omaha Orange.

999 is a special order paint code, this code was used for multiple colors. This code was used in '69 but I can't find it in '68, here are the paint chips.

does anyone have the info on the omaha orange paint #'s or mix recipe or even where i could get some. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to use the 999 code orange from '69 use the PPG/Ditzler #60436, any PPG/Ditzler dealer should be able to use that number for mixing.
