In need of help.

Questions:

I have a complete, unrestored interior (front / rear seats, console, sun-visors, kick panels, door panels (3) and all seatbelts & hardware) in ‘gold’ from a 1968 Barracuda Fastback. I’m going custom with no rear seat, roll-bar, etc …

I have never sold anything on this site so my questions are:

How do you determine value for something unique like this (look up each part and add all together)?

Do you just sell ‘as is’ considering age and obvious condition or take a bunch of pictures?

How do you deal with stuff like this (large / bulky) considering it would need to ship by truck (LTL). Would you recommend selling off in sections, require pick up only or offer delivery within a distance?

Tips to weed out scammers?

Best practices for payment?

Sell as is only?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I spent the morning reviewing the interior for sale but didn’t anything similar (all together) … thanks for the response.
Well, shipping is expensive. Add 2 or 3 hundred to the price and that could be a deal breaker. How you require payment is up to you. The value is up to you. If you do your due diligence and check other sources such as ebay that sell interiors then a value shouldn't be that hard to arrive at. Hopefully you find someone who needs that color because replacement covers are over $1,000 if you can get them. Right now there's a rear seat for a fastback 2nd gen Barracuda for $600 and it's been for sale for at least a year.

Thank you. I looked at eBay as well and the prices seemed unusually (as you stated too high) … I’m thinking $1250 plus shipping for everything.

Thanks again, I’ll figure out the wording an payment type.

You’ve been very helpful, thank you again.

No worries, good luck. Lots of pictures, description and no phone # or email in the posting.

Depends on how fast you want them gone !
The vinyl is probably 50 years old and crispy as is the foam !
Console complete if not totally pitted up and busted About $300
Front seats if they have the slider mounts included about $500
Rear seat I can't give away ! Say $100 for inside parts.
Now if this is all in Great shape , it's worth more.
Like said above, shipping is high and time consuming. And if not careful on weight and size ,could even cost you more than expected !
I see prices on Ebay, Facebook marketplace asking crazy #s

Paypal is the easiest way to collect payment if you are set up already. Then Check or money order works also if not in a hurry to get payment !
