I understand the 68 Barracudas top dashpad is unique. I think mine had a 67 frankensteined in (the dash has a shallow valley that runs the length of the pad and the ends were lopped off). Is there anyway I can determine if a second hand dash is from a 68 Barracuda??

I don't know but we will find out when I get the 67 parts car back here to use to support rebuilding my 68 FB fish. I am getting a bad feeling that they changed more between 67 and 68 than the side marker lights and nose emblem.

The 68 Dash pad is a one year only . Irs ends are shorter and meet the lower dash pads that were also one year. The sheet metal dash for 68 would jave a series of holes along the bottom where the lower pads bolted on.

Is there anyway to determine if a used top dash pad is for a 68 Barracuda? Would the length of the ends be different (maybe shorter) from all A-bodies? It seems all the repops are generic A-body.
