Goes without saying. The question is who is paying for the repairs?

I think the person/business that prepped the parts for shipping is directly responsible and should make this right.

No way were those parts making it back to the customer unscathed ,packaged the way they were.

That's nice, but doesn't help the op with his dilemma and he isn't going to attempt the repairs himself..

Agreed but just pointing out that if he wanted to, it could be done by the op himself.

That could be repaired. IF the rest of the work looks okay, it would be cheaper for you to find a competent trim guy and use these pieces rather than start over again. Like you said in the video, I wouldn't give this guy another opportunity, as he won't even take responsibility for his poor packaging.
