This carb came on a car I bought, but, isn't the correct one for my year, so, it's up for grabs. I fired it up a year ago and it ran, but, wouldn't idle good. I figure it just needs to be cleaned out and a new kit installed. All the shafts move fine and don't have any excess play in them. I consider it a rebuildable core. The number is correct for a '68 383 with an automatic transmission. $175 delivered to a U.S. address only via USPS Priority mail and PayPal.

Can't read the date code, can you tell me what it is or an up close picture where the 4401S code is, the two digit code next to it is the date code.
 
Looked through my carbs today and I do have a 4401S in the stash, didn't know I had it! Thanks for getting me the date code, mine is the one I needed all along...
