In the 2nd picture it looks as if there is a transmission dipstick tube hiding between the manifold and the firewall.

Very nice ... but out of curiosity I'm trying to figure out what that big loop of rubber hose(?) is going up and over the distributor and back down??

The black is insulation around the fuel line
