Trying to buy a newer truck and need to get some money!

1968 Valiant V-100 with a 318 and 4 speed. Driven atleast once a week, more when weather is rough. Car was a daily driver, I now ride my motorcycle most days. Manual everything, pretty much everything works! Clean California title in my name, registered, a driving restoration project. Fender tag is long gone, engine is from the early 70's.

Engine: Supposedly rebuilt, has 360 j heads. LD4B intake with carter 400 carb. Has a mild cam, possibly isky e-4 grind as it's a solid. Mallory electronic ignition, and coil. Recent plugs, wires, filters, etc. Always starts but idles a little rough, carb needs adjustment.

Transmission: 4 speed with hurst shifter. Clutch grabs good but needs adjustment. Clutch linkage rebuild kits included but not installed.

Rear end: 8.75, unsure of pumpkin casting. Has at least 4.10 gears with a peg leg.

Tires/Suspension: Newer KYB shocks, otherwise in need of a rebuild. Wheels were powder coated black a few years ago, tires are very good. Drums all around with small bolt pattern. Drives straight with a little slop in the wheel.

Brakes: Newer master cylinder, brakes were rebuilt when I got it, its been a few years now. It pulls slightly when braking.

Body: Rot in the RR quarter, looks to be from a leaking rear window. Windshield leaks which has caused front pans to need replacement, passenger side is the worst. I tacked a steel plate there to keep out water/wind. Body is straight, has a really crappy paint job on it.

Interior: Seats redone when I got it, generic pattern. No headliner or carpet, just truck bedliner. Looks tough! Drivers side window binds when rolling down, need to use the "technique."

Extras that go with it: 302 heads that need a rebuild, 675 heads that I practiced port matching on which need a rebuild, new gasket set, new edelbrock 1405 carb, various pieces of trim, grille, and interior parts. A few z bars, extra rear window and 2 quarter windows. Mostly complete wiring harness. Entire dash! A lot of stuff I don't remember, have to look for those interested.

Car is in Redwood City (94062) California. Please PM, faster responses will be from [email protected]
FABO price of $3000, will list locally for more soon :happy1:
