That wheel looks fantastic. How did you prep it and paint it?
ouch! looks like that thing was under water.I've got a nice used original carburator if anyone is interested! I'll even throw in the mouse nest for free!

The whole air cleaner was completely full of a mouse nest. I can't even begin to explain the smell that came from that thing. It's been sitting in a barn since about 81, so I guess that's what 35+ years of mouse pee does to a carb. The amazing part is the intake was perfectly clean inside!ouch! looks like that thing was under water.
Ran the buffer around the rust spots and from 20 yards, it actually looks ok. Took it to a cruise night at the local drive in Thursday and it really drives nice. 150 trouble free miles so far.
