On Facebook they show wheeling your car around the lot. Glad to see it's finally getting done. Look forward to see it being saved on the show.
Thank you, I'm really looking forward to having the car to drive!

I know, it was supposed to be done in two years from the time I delivered it to them. They didn't even start on it within that time frame. They did have some setbacks with the new shop and and some of the crew leaving but it was all for the better. They really seem to be on track now. Now they are telling people two years from the disassembly date. If that is true, mine should be done within a year or so.These restorations take a couple of years to complete. They don't show that on TV.
Sucks to wait, but the smile on your face will be worth it when it is done.I know, it was supposed to be done in two years from the time I delivered it to them. Yeah, one of the previous owners said that work was done in 1978.She had some patches already did'nt she! Glad they are working on it!!!
I'm glad to hear your good news. I am thinking it will likely be on in the fall but time will tell.my M-Code 69 Cuda is finished at AMD and i'm now making arrangements for shipping back to Pittsburgh. AMD had my car for over a year primarily due to lack of parts and some other "unique" issues that required me to buy an entire body shell to use as a part's car. i could see Graveyard Carz taking longer on your car given all the "transitions" they have gone through in the last couple of years.
i hope your car is featured on the show soon. it will be great watching an A-body Barracuda getting restored.
best wishes for a great "restoration experience."

I took it there right after I bought it in January of 2014.I've been wondering what had happened with this car. So you've been without this car for what 4 years now?
I don't know how much patience, I have bought 8 cars since then (sold 5 of them). I had a line on an original set but they needed new chrome. In the end he chose to buy a new set of 1969 reproduction ones from AMD and have them chromed.Awesome and Hope to see it on the show. Been a long a time! You have much patience!
Do you have the chrome covers for it. I assume they just popped some steel ones on to paint her up. Nice to see the correct hardware and detail!
I know but I wanted to keep it as original as possible for the restoration.Nice to see progress! Those front drums will get a workout as much as the gas pedal lol.
Apparently he does not give estimated times of completion any longer. I'm really glad to see it finally moving along. I think he is really trying to do his best. With some luck I might have it back this summer. Wouldn't that be nice?Nice to see progress.....
It appears from reading thru your thread this morning (hey, it's Saturday) that GYC does not start (put it in the "cue") until on they are ready to continually work to completion. Big plus.
Too often we see member builds that immediately get torn apart at a "restoration" shop only to sit for years......parts disaapear, employees come and go, and for some, the place even goes toes up and all you are left with is parts, pieces, and bondo. Big negative
Gonna be nice when done.
BTW.....please tell Mark he is a great dancer.....if ever I was thinking about changing teams....he would be right at the top of the list. Seriously , I really enjoy the show since the format change.
