Glass was pulled long ago, I screwed the bolts in when I pulled the glass. The bolt has a big washer and there was also a round plastic piece on the bolt, is there supposed to be 2 round plastic pieces one on each side of the glass? Or if just one plastic piece, does the plastic piece go on the other side from where the bolt & washer go thru the window?

Thanks!

There shouldn't be an metal against glass anywhere. All mounting areas use a soft gasket of some sort.....some rubber, some plastic, some more of a cardboard material depending on year, type of fastener/bracket, and location of the glass.

Dana, I looked for your Dart at the cruise today, didn't see it. I was hoping to visit with you.

Seems a plastic milk container will do the trick.

There is a fiber washer on each side of the glass and a rubber sleeve over the bolt. I think the rubber sleeve is for anti rattle purposes(fills gap between glass and bolt). I used some anti seize on the bolts. Had one that was corroded and broke during removal.
