Looking for examples or suggestions for 17inch possibly 18inch wheels and wide tires for the rear of my Dart convertible. I will narrow the rearend, relocate the springs and have a min-tub done. I do not want to alter the top of the wheel wells but desire a level ride stance. I have read that there is some wheel well hight lost with the convertible compared to the hardtop. Also any other watch outs that might come up, such as bracing and motor brackets. Just would like to hear from someone who has done this.

Thanks in advance, Darryl

Keep the top of wheel wells at the level they are right now. Before welding the tubs in make sure the top goes down.

US CAR TOOL. makes a great mini tub kit. You will reuse your existing tubs and the kit is all precut and shaped. They also have great frame connectors. I just did tubs and connectors on a 70 dart but it was a hard top. I hope this helps.
