640 of these M-Code 440 GTS cars
We’re produced in 1969 only as
Special order Drag/Track/Strip purpose built
Asphalt slayers
3,000 lb car with 375 HP 480 ft lbs built in 1969 ?
That Was unheard of 50 years ago
Today only 49 M-Code 440 GTS cars
Are documented and accounted for as surviving


Vehicle was restored 14 years ago
And has roughly 800 miles driven since documented resto

440 bored to 452
Mild Camshaft
Correct 906 heads with larger valves-stainless
Edelbrock/Carter AVS 750 carb
Engine fully rebuilt
New pistons,rings,bearings etc
Factory exhaust manifolds
Accurate exhaust system from manifolds to tail pipes

727 automatic Torqueflight fully rebuilt
New B&M 2,800 rpm converter
8-3/4 rearend with 742 center & 3.23 gears
Fully rebuilt ,green axle bearings

New Seat covers ,Headliner , carpet during resto

All original sheet metal
Except pass side rear quarter skin was replaced

Have folders and photo book
Of all receipts and documented restoration

14 year old restoration is showing its age slightly
But shows very well still

price? point I have other than all I nearly died. sold non ins parts to mancini. manifolds ar they 4 sale. mine broke both sides.have 383 gts and manifolds . r diff tried and bought 2 put on 383 to 440 car. 440 r 2 PLS inches taller destroyed 2 383 gts trying 2 bulid.

The last time that I had seen the car it had a 383 A-Body manifold on it so can you please confirm that the casting number of the drivers side manifold is a 3462017. Thanks
