1969 Dart GTS340 on the way

sweet ride, but i have to say, a 383 4spd will reall make it complete.
 
She,s lookin good 17,as for colour I thought the later69,s were orange?(motor)Could be wrong like Nemo the Yellabelly?LMAO!!Turkeyouis?

Depending upon the lighting and camera angle, it can look BOTH colors! I have photos of my turquoise 340 and in one photo it is turquoise, and the other in sunlight looks like Chrysler Blue.

I bet that GTS is a LA built car. There are a number of bucket seat cars with column shift in the Registry that are LA built and and only a couple that are Hamtramck built.

17remfan-Very nice GTS now matter which colour engine you have. You have certainly jumped into the Mopar world with a first rate beauty. The fact that it's a Dart even makes it better.
 
Ill try to find out more about when this car was built .Anyway ,I hope you all like it .Oh and I ordered some hemi orange paint. Life is too short not to get what you like best :)

A green car with a Turquoise engine should look pretty nice,dont you think? 8)After being shown here what is correct, how could I paint it orange? I"ll go get some turquoise.Thanks guys
 
Well gang, I bought the car today and shes mine .I cant believe what nice condition its in .The body is straight all around and with great paint.Interior is very nice to.A pull on the manual choke cable and it cranked up and ran sweetly with no smoke .Its got a nicer engine bay than my photo shows . It will be an easy take my time clean up.Ill have it here next friday.This is a very solid ,presentable GTS340 I have to say , I scored on this one .Mopars rock
 
The engine in my car has an Edelbrock LD4B intake. Is this a good intake for a stock 69 340 engine?and is it better than the stock intake??.Oh its got an Edelbock carb on it also. Not sure of the size yet.Any comments welcome.The car wont be drag raced just fun cruising mostly... Ill be getting the car home on Saturday .. thanks .

The LD4B is designed more for the 273/318 engine with smaller ports. Look for an LD340 and you`ll be in like Flynn.
