Ok don’t say “ on the door “

I know these are somewhat hard to come by. I have one that I’d like to use, but of course the car is not drilled for it. Does it go in the same spot on the door as the drivers mirror or just forward or back of that ? anybody have pictures of one on their 67 to 69 dart installed

Here are pics of a convertible a buddy just sold...

Thanks I appreciate it. But it looks of the picture. It’s the same spot as the driver mirror correct?

Yes, the 67 mirror placement was different and they moved it for 68-69 so it would be in the same place to let the wing window open with no obstruction...

I added a passenger mirror to my 67 and put it in the same position as the driver's mirror. It's absolutely WORTHLESS there. I suggest that you have someone place it where you can actually see (at least a little) out of it while sitting in the seat. Mark it's position and then check for clearance with the wing window before drilling any holes.

There are several threads here about this. I wish I had seen them first.

Round "objects in mirror are closer..." convex mirror glass is available fairly easily, to make them behave more like current wide vision mirrors.

I installed one on my 1969 Barracuda and can't see anything out of it. I used the measurements from the driver side. I was told after the fact that you have to pivot the mirror in in order to see out of it. Had I known before hand that you had to install it crooked would I have done it, I don't know. Too late now.
