1969 dart throttle cable

I'd like 2 run a wilson 2" carb spacer
will stock throttle cable reach or will I need a longer 1
If I need a longer 1 Where would I get 1 that mounts like the stock 1

I'm using an Edelbrock DP4B with a 1" spacer, had to modify the linkage just a little...

My Weiand Stealth, no spacer and both a Demon 625 and Holley 750 barley fit with the stock cable.

I put a 1" spacer under my Edelbrock carb with a Mopar aluminum intake and the cable would not reach mounted in the stock location. I switched to a 1/2" spacer and it was just barely long enough. I would like to go back to the 1" spacer myself to reduce heat issues in the carb, but have not found a suitable throttle cable.

Easiest thing to do is get a Lokar kit. Pretty much infinitely adjustable.

Is there a way to look up part numbers to see if I could find a longer stock style cable

It might reach depending which intake your running, you just have to try. If not you could modify the bracket that holds the cable to raise it up some, then you will be fine. I believe all the stock cables are the same length from where they mount, to the carb. The slant 6 cable has a overall longer length but not in that area. Also if your running an auto with a kickdown your probably gonna have to address that too. If you bend the pad where the cable mounts upward that helps too.
