FOR SALE: 1969 Dodge Dart GTS. 340/727. Real GTS with matching numbers engine block. Car was restored around 2005, and I have owned it since 2007. Car was decoded/verified by Galen Govier. Paint is Y2 Yellow basecoat/clearcoat done in 2005, still looks great as does the chrome, interior upholstery and carpet, top, and underbody. Stock AM radio works. Heat/defrost works. Parking brake works. No rust, except for a very small bubble at base of vinyl top on left rear. Not even sure if it is rust. Rear window leaks water into trunk (as most of them do). New rear 1/4 panels in 2005. Trunk floor and everything else is solid. Grille and trunk panel were polished, anodized, and painted by King Of Chrome. Car runs good and is very reliable. Modifications are nearly too many to list, but I’ll try:

Chassis: Mopar Super Stock rear springs. KYB gas shocks all around. All new wheel and axle bearings. All tie rods and ball joints are excellent. Borgeson power steering box and needle bearing coupler. SSBC 4-wheel disc brakes with 4 ½” big bolt pattern. Wilwood master cylinder. DOT-5 silicone brake fluid throughout system. Doctor Diff rear axles and 3.55 Sure Grip differential. Tanks Inc. gas tank with drop-in 60 psi electric pump and sender. All fuel lines are AN6 braided stainless steel.

Wheels & Tires: 15” x 7” Team III E-T V wheels with 4 ½” bolt pattern and 4.75” backspacing. 225/60R15 Diamondback redline radials.

Engine: Original 340 block, bored .060” over. Flat top pistons. Stock forged crank, and rods. Eldelbrock Performer aluminum heads, Weiand intake manifold, Mopar valve covers (very rare flangeless “NASCAR” design). New in 2022: Harland Sharp roller rockers, custom Smith Bros. pushrods, Howards Cams Direct-Lube (EDM) solid lifters, Comp Cams “270S” #20-246-4 solid camshaft, double roller timing chain, high-flow water pump, ceramic coated stock exhaust manifolds, 600 cfm Holley vacuum secondary carburetor, full MSD ignition system, stock radiator, shrouded electric fans controlled by Painless thermostat and relay (never overheats), billet thermostat housing, all hoses are AN stainless steel, fuel pressure bypass regulator recirculates 60 psi fuel back to gas tank (easy to add EFI), Powermaster chrome round-back alternator. I have stock intake, nice pair of X-heads, stock carburetor, distributor, fan w/clutch… which all go with car if you want them.

Transmission: New in 2023, TCI Street-Fighter 727 with TCI 2500 stall converter. Summit deep aluminum pan.

Other: All new Accurate Exhaust stock-type system with stainless steel tips. Lip spoiler added under front bumper. Hella H4 headlights. Ammeter bypass wiring. Cracked Back headlight wiring kit. Gage cluster (oil, volts, water temp.), tachometer. Stock ammeter no longer works due to bypass wiring. Stock temperature gage does not work. Oil pressure warning light does not work (no sender). Gas gage is not very accurate. LED bulbs in turn signals and brake lights.

I have most of the stock parts , plus spare parts, that will go with the car if you want them.

I have owned this car 17 years and I’ve never raced or otherwise abused it. It’s a nice car and has won many trophies. I’m getting old and I guess I’m just tired of it. Want to get a more modern toy. P-M me on here, or at Eight Six O - Six Two Six - Eight O Seven O.

Price: $30,000 or whatever I can get.
