I can't tell from what is shown. I can see the longitudinal stripe delete. It's about the same color as my Avatar 65. I was never a huge fan of this light blue but it kind of grew on me with the chrome, white center stripe and raised white letters. We get a lot of compliments on the color from people...mostly women...LOL I've never seen this Ebay car before.Has side stripe delete. Does that delete hood stripes also? Interesting looking car.

Wrong passenger valve cover and where are the callouts, V78 deletes them all, looks way to plain...

No thats wrong. V78 deletes the upper stripe.Wrong passenger valve cover and where are the callouts, V78 deletes them all, looks way to plain...
yes all as well as all 340 and 383 cuda package carsI know the 440 cars are all simular. Do they all have V78 on the fender tag?
Only the pin stripes are deleted. The cuda package cars still got the wide stripes on the hood and along the lower sides.Has side stripe delete. Does that delete hood stripes also? Interesting looking car.

Actually both valve covers are wrong. No chrome valve covers on the 440 cars.Wrong passenger valve cover and where are the callouts, V78 deletes them all, looks way to plain...
Yes they do. Guessing the govier decode just assumed that the V78 code which is for the longitudinal stripe delete on non-cuda versions meant the same. Or the owner did, and left them off. They all have them.I know the 440 cars are all simular. Do they all have V78 on the fender tag?
That is a 67-68 valve cover, by 69 the heater hoses were routed to the inner fender with a clip screwed on it. I also agree that the car should have stock steel painted covers, and I agree that the Cuda cars could not delete the stripes, and this car proves it, just looks wrong...It looks like it is a V 78. Maybe the owner or painter didn't put the callouts back. It was painted in 2000. Like I said it's not mine. The valve cover. I have no idea.
it is plain Jane that's for sureThat is a 67-68 valve cover, by 69 the heater hoses were routed to the inner fender with a clip screwed on it. That you will not know until you get into it. From just restoring one I see quite a bit different from Original but that doesn’t matter to a lot of people as long as they have a M Code car. I know a lot of people would not do it back to Original so it really wouldn’t matter. You could install the Stripes and it would appear to the untrained eye it is correct, Until you got into the smaller details. But there is always the big question was the body done correctly.Yeah it just makes you wonder how much has to be done if they didn't build it correctly to start
