I currently have a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda with 14inch wheels and have a set of 15 steel wheels I just acquired from Coker. Currently, I tried on a 225/70R/15 Tire that was too big as rubbed the front fender when turning the steering wheel. My gut is 70R is too big..... I would like to get a wide/tall tire on these 15inch rims that have a 4" backspace.
Cuda is stock with Kelsey hayes brakes, wheels are small bolt pattern in a 15x7 Size. I don't want to make major altercations or use spring adaptors. Looking for recommendations for these upgrades.
