Alright, what are the differences if any? Looking for one to go in my 70 340 swinger. Currently has no radio so I can't compare, but a buddy of mine has one supposedly out of a 69 dart. Did a Google search and from the front appear to be the same, but curious about the mounting holes. Thanks in advance!

1970 plate says Chrysler solid state, the front plate must be L shapes and there is an S bracket on the back
I think I have a restored one from Instrument Specialties a
that I will not need now or a complete used one

Thanks but I'm not in the market for a restored unit. The electronics will be gutted and upgraded with new stuff that allows music to play via Bluetooth and usb. I was just wondering about the mounting differences from 69 to 70.

I may be incorrect (correct me if I'm wrong ) but I think that the mounting plate is different on the barracuda dash. (what I have). I had sm electrotech modernize my thumbwheel and it works Great..

My 70' radio has a rotating knob left to right. The 69' is a vertical thumbwheel. two different radios. something to look at.
