I drove this on the street, believe it or not, 5000 miles off and on for 20 years. I was not told it was modified when I bought the car and only discovered why it required high octane gas, was a beast, and nothing I came up against on the street could touch it when I refreshed the leaky gaskets. I was surprised to find 12.5 pistons and weight equalization markings in the pistons and rod caps. Cylinders still have visible crosshatching and crank plastigages perfect on every journal. Has its x-heads, Edelbrock manifold and Holley 650. Had a 4 speed behind it. Out of the car but we can run it on a stand or on the ground. For one reason or another the seller ran the original can that needed replacement so I just installed a Summit stock grind and lifters and not try to guess what a buyer might want to ultimately put in it. $3000. I'm reasonable: Show me cheaper comparables and I'll negotiate. Thanks

whats the vin on the block?
Unfortunately the VIN is unreadable. I was readable when I bought my 1970 Duster in 1991, but water, salt and the heat from the header pitted the stamping pretty bad. It was B197571. I think only you can only make out B__757_ and the 5 looks like a 5 or 6. Date code is July 1969.

Price drop $2700
