Abuddy of his traded, liked the green one better. This one is solid, paints rough and thick. But its getting stripped anyway.I wonder what happened to the front clip donor? Looks fairly solid. Cool man, keep at it!
Ya i got a grill, its in nice shape. Nice to see a local guy, i’m in mission, used to go to the track all the time, see ya down there!Looks solid overall. Do you have the grill? There getting hard to find. I have a 72 grill that I don't need. Come on over to the mission track this summer lots of Mopar guys that can help with parts to finish her up. My dart is pictured in the avatar look me up rich.
Learnin something new all the time. I didn’t know they are that rare or the custom badge is one year only. I bought the console cause it was a good deal, if i find a good bench before the buckets i’ll go with it. Allways liked the look of a 4 speed with a bench seat. I like the factory doorpanels and are going to see if i can have those redone.Wishing you the best with your project! 70 2 door Customs are really rare. My Dad bought one new in 1970 that I still have, though it's a 340 car now (since 1978). In trying to keep most of the rest of the car as is, I have been able to work with some suppliers to get them to produce parts unique to that car. The quarter panel "custom" signs are one year only pieces and 18 years ago I gave the one NOS badge that I had to Layson's and they made a run of them that turned out really good. I think they still have some, but you might have to ask for them rather than relying on their catalog. Legendary makes all the seat covers including for the front bench, and they made door panels for me too so you can order those. My interior is green two tone just like yours, but with a white body. If you want a set of new Legendary front bucket covers (I saw that you got a console), PM me and I'll make you a good price.
That sure is nice with the green on green. Those door panels are....... you guessed it, one year only 2 door Dart Custom and GT units! The only ones that match the three line stitch pattern in the original seats. Dart 340 Swingers used the same back seat upholstery and buckets with that pattern if you ordered buckets and a console, but used the standard Swinger door panelsView attachment 1715487905 View attachment 1715487907 View attachment 1715487908
Sure, worth a look. I might be to far away with the shipping.you said you were going to try and get your door panels repaired. I think that I still have a set of originals in driver condition from when I put the new Legendary ones on. Do you want me to check and see?
That would work.Unless this corona virus this lasts that long, I'm headed to the Mopar Madness show in Langley BC on July 12th. We could just meet and pass them off.
