It can also be a Scheduled Production Date - Oct. 14th, so where is the code on the tag?

Interesting.From what I read, it was not on the fender tag.

The reason I asked this question was I recently purchased a 1970 Swinger 340 4 speed from a Chrysler dealership. It did not have a fender tag on it and the salesman told me it was lost during the restoration process in 1998.The car has black vinyl/white cloth with a diamond pattern bench seats in it with a center arm rest.I told him I had one of these cars in 1972 and all of them came with vinyl bench seats with the 340/4 speed.He said this car must have been ordered with the Spring Special Package which included this type of seat. I later found out these exact seats were an option in a 1972 Dart Swinger. I guess I was misinformed about his A14 option. Thanks for your help.
